Ms. Green is very excited to be in her seventh year at Collinswood! She has worked with many schools across the state, but none are quite like Collinswood!
Ms. Green received her Bachelors degree in Music Education from Wingate University in Wingate, NC. (Go Bulldogs!)
When she is not teaching, Ms. Green loves to make music! Her primary instruments are flute and piccolo, but she loves playing the bass clarinet, and the baritone! In her free time, Ms. Green performs with multiple Community bands. She also loves to sing and is currently a member of Nova Voce Women's Choir. Her previous performance experiences include The Union Symphony Orchestra, College Band Directors National Association's Small College Intercollegiate Band, Sing for the Cure, Carolina's Wind Orchestra and multiple ensembles during her time at Wingate University.
Ms. Green is currently a member of NCMEA, SCDBA, and WBDI professional organizations. She lives in Charlotte with her puppy, Sophia, and cat, PersiKitty (named after composer Vincent Persichetti, Percy for short.)
